what are these cranks worth

I'm not trying to sell these here. I have a couple people interested locally and I dont have the slightest idea what they are worth. Used but excellent condition forged Mk IV cranks from GM. I'd probably get rid of the GM balancer and flywheel with them.

bc,
If they are not cracked, which about 50% of them are, they would go for around $250 in this area. They will need to be magnafluxed and reground.

I think balancer and flywheel need to go with the cranks because they are external balance. Anyone out there now if this is true.

The cranks are externally balanced but to be honest with you, unless the dampers are in very good condition, they would go in the dumpster. The flywheels should be ok. There are plenty of replacement dampers to be had.

Thanks for the info. What would be the fair thing to do for magnafluxing? Should I do it and then add it to the price, split the cost with a buyer or what ?

bck,
I would do it first, then you know the crank is ok. If it does not mag ok then it becomes scrap metal.
