Install times will vary depending on what hull you are putting it in and how tight it is to get plumbed out.

Part prices overall will depend on what Q&Q system you choose as well as what tips you want..

Where are you located? is this something you need a shop to do?? Jamie / Lakeside

What do you want to add it to????????? a boat with through hulls only or through prop only????? that will make a big difference in price.

If you just want through hull, then you could just cap the Y pipe and all you would need is exhaust hose and tips and cut the holes.

The boat is a 25' Thunderbird Falcon. It is currently thru prop only. I've bought the corsa quick and quiet II which is switchable from through hull to through prop. My marina said it was something that would take them 2-3 weeks to install. Not sure if they were just overloaded with work or if they didnt want to do it but i'm now looking for ideas on install prices.

It a couple hr job. The 2-3 weeks is more than likely the time TLL they get to it.

I did mine while the boat was on the lift and it took 4 hours. Most of the time was spent measuring 4 billion times before I got the balls to cut those 4" holes in my transom. A marina with the boat on a trailer or maintenance lift should be able to do it in less time.

Yeah, I agree with the 2-3 week comment. Thats gotta be the time until they can get to it. If thats how long it takes to do the job they better find another career. Agreed with everyone else, should only take about 4-6 hours. By the time you measure, tape it up so the gel or glass dont chip, drill, seal the hole with west system hot coat, the tips, new clamps, run it on the hose and check the operation of everything and check for leaks.

Sounds good!

Good luck!

yep 4-6 hrs does sound fair.. Unless you have some crazy transom layout or exit that requires some special plumbing, then I could see it posibly being a little more.. ;) JAmie / Lakeside
