stand off boxes
 

i have a 35ss sonic can anyone help me on what kind of advantages i could expect to see from installing boxes?

I have stellings on my 35 fountain and realy do not think they did any thing for performance , the boat does ride better.

Thanks for the post. I was milling that around in my head about adding extension boxes. For no gains, the expense cannot be justified.

I thought the newer Fountains were running an even more aggressive x-dim? So a -3 x-dim on our boats would work a little better?

On a 97 hull you could see a 2-3 MPH improvment. It acomplishes the same thing as the newer hulls with the notched bottom transom.

2-3 mph doesnt really seem worth the cost of new ones does anyone know where i might be able to get a used set?
