Plug wire differences?

Is there safety wise and difference between a marine wire and a automotive wire?

Reason for asking is I have a nice set of Auto wires that didnt get used on my Camaro that cost me over 100 bucks. If I can use them on my 460 Ford I would really dig it.

Same question in relation to the distributer cap. Anyone?

There is no difference in the wires. As far as the cap goes, usually the marine caps have brass studs and post in them and the car stuff has regular steel which corrodes faster.
