What Crank to buy
Can i have some feedback on what cranks people are useing that handle over 900 HP at 4.250 stroke or more when the overlap is getting small. Thanks. Jas

Callies Magnum, its good for 1500+HP.
Pricy, but you can't go wrong with it. |

Howard racing cams has a 4340 crank it's there pro series is good for over 1000 HP. Kentucky forgeing's machined by Callies all made in USA for 1325 bucks . They also have some nice billet rods. They have been in business since the 1950's. I just built a pair of 540's with them really nice stuff. www.howardscams.com or 920 233 5228 ask for john great people to work with. Just my 2cents JOHN

It has been said the Bryant cranks look like jewelry.
It might be worth your time to visit with them about balancers,location of the counter balance,swap fire vs. standard firing order,key ways,depth of snout bolt hole and etc.....They would also need the bob wt. |
