If you use On/Off (which works great), Do Not get it on any Galvanized surfaces, say your trailer or lift. It will take the galvanization right off the surface!! Been there, done that.

DAVIS FSR
Used it for 11 years on our Donzi. Barnaget Bay water is the most brackish I have seen next to swamp water... never had a problem. WARNING! will DEFINITLY turn your galvanizing BLACK! will DEFINITLY remove 3M vinyl colors! JUST bought a new one actually.
10 bucks.. lasts a while if used wisely. (22 CLASSIC... 1 jar....USED EVERY WEEKEND FROM APRIL TO OCTOBER for 3 seasons.)
good luck.

I have been using Slimy Grimy with a brush, works great.

I tried some last fall from some guys using it at the marina, it worked very good. It supposed to be safe for your gel and you. No mask or gloves required.

In dirty river water, acids are about the only solution. People think LOTO has dirty water. My boat has been in LOTO for 10 days straight before and it comes out cleaner than 10 hrs in our river. No amount of scrubbing with any other chemicals will take the stain off. It would look like the inside an old coffee mug after just being in overnight in the river. Also, Sno Bowl works because it contains acid.
IMO, 2 minutes of acid can't be any harder on the gel than boating for a day in salt water.

My marina guy turned me on to a product called SLX, works great and doesn't harm the trailer or your skin. Also no nasty fumes. I have no idea what's in there, but it works as well as ON/OFF.

Vyper340 is in Russia right now. I sent him this thread, he should respond.

BillR- You just reinforced my point for. If this product is so good....then why is there only 1 person in the country we can deal with to purchase it....and he's not even in the country now. So I guess we all have to wait until he comes home to clean our boats :)
I'll ask again if anyone knows who manufactures this product (RING GO) or if there is a website we can go to.

There are other places to get it, but I don't know where. Plus Vyper340 buys in buld and gets a decent deal.

iron out ---- best kept secret

you can get it at home depot. it's like a borax soap and you
can get it all over you. it is cheap. you need no elbow grease.
wipe on with soft brush and stains run right off.
