Did you diagnose what went wrong with the motor that caused it to lock up? Congrats on your purchase of the new 383. How much are you looking to get from the Rev exhaust? Manifolds and risers?

Sorry, I forgot all about that part. It was a brass item ingested, I assume a wayward brass wing nut.

It found itself in #1 where it bent the intake valve, dinged up piston, and put a nasty crack in the cyl about 1-2 inches down from the deck. The oil had about 1-2 quarts of unmixed water in it when I drained it, so I am guessing the cyl cracked at the same time as motor failure, since the oil was completely unmixed.

As far as the Revolutions, they are less than 1 yr old, I'd say max 20 hours use, and are polished. The polish isn't perfect anymore from all the handling. I paid I think 1150 or 1200 for them and brackets last year. I'd say 900. I'm not real itchy to get rid of them, as I trust those stock POS's as far as I can throw them.
