your drives must be burried. or you have a 1 36 gear ratio and not making the rpm to make boost.

90 with no hydrolic steering? Kind of makes me wonder. From my experience anything over 70 & it's near impossible to keep a 26 in the water. Sonic is also not the most efficent hull out there, great in the rough stuff, not so great on top end. Just my .02 from owning one.

Really you have about 620 hp @ prop shaft,Your best #'s are going to be a 26 bravo performace to start get some really #'s condition that you run in ect ,then go from there.I have a 525sc in mine and have some good #'s you would be suprised with and a friend with one close to your Hp he did this year also with some #'s.PM me if you want .....

wonder what?

never said the owner prioritized his spending.

just said that boat or one like it with 700 h.p+ should be well into the eighties.
which is the point of this thread.

the picture of the transom is to give an idea of the x dimension on this boat and how a 2" shortie helped it out.

Was anything done to the fuel line? I've always heard you have to increase the diameter of the line and fittings when you supercharge. I would think at minimum you should see at least a 12 MPH gain. Steve

Yes the whipple was professionally installed, they put bigger fuel lines in, I am seeing about 43-45 on the gauge like whipple says I need to be at, I am also running at 5lbs. of boat wot according to the gauge.
The fuel consumtion is not as bad as I thought it would be,but at almost $4.00 a gallon its bad enough.

I am running a bravo X with a 1.5 gear ratio, I can probably hit 71-72 if I raised my tabs all the way, but the boats wants to porpoise then so I keep them around 4-5 for a better ride.
I know if I raised them to 9 it would be like a roller coaster.

But I am losing about 500 rpms, so would the 26 get me more mph?
