Sarasota - Need Mercruiser Mechanic

Anybody know a mechanic in the Sarasota, Florida area who knows how to work on a Merc. 496 Mag HO? I can't find anybody reliable and I'm open to any recommendations somebody can make. Thanks for the help!

youre having trouble finding a mercruiser mechanic in sarasota FLORIDA ? geeze i would have thought there were more of them there per capita then anywhere else on the planet.

call grant elsbree at offshore marine- he is a former racer and I believe he mainly does outboards but will give the best referral and tell him Jamie said so

Jamie, thanks for the referral. Mechanics are a dime a dozen down here, but finding someone who actually knows what they are doing is another story. Thanks again.
