Crane Fireball Ign. help!
 

Is anyone using a Crane HI-6M ignition with a magnetic trigger distributor and an Alpha 1 drive? I can't get the ignition cutout on the shift linkage to work. They say this is the first time they have run into this. I cannot imagine that no one else has this combo. I don't expect there are too many running a 400 SBC in a fishin' boat though!

The shift interupt is a simple switch. I'd think whatever wire powers the ign module should be wired in line? Crane says to run the green white from the dist to ground?

That is for a hall effect distributer. I am running an MSD magnetic pickup distributer.
