496 Procharger roll-call
 

Just purchased a used Procharger from a friend and going to install in my 2001 Checkmate on the 496HO.
Heard a lot of bad things going with the 5lb. boost so I'm going with the 3.5lb kit even though I have the higher boost upgrade with it and a Whipple programmed ECM for the procharger.
Questions for myself and I'm sure this post may help others trying to decide on one and maybe help them with their own.
Please no post from people who have not or currently do not have a procharger. Want real world experience on a 496.

Type of boat?
How many hours before you put the procharger on?
How many hours on procharger?
MPH before?
MPH after?
Issues with either 3.5 or 5lbs boost?
Issues with install?
Would you install one again?
