power valve or not.
If you are not boost referenced should you remove the power valve or not when using a blower application? 509 CI B&M 250 blower with single 850 cfm Holley.
Motors run great with the power valves in place but seems to using a lot more fuel then expected. One motor is using more fuel then the other as well. For this motor I found the gasket behind the power valve to be ripped and resulted in a direct fuel leak into the blower from the bottom of the carb. |
if you plug the power valve you will have to jump up about 10 to 12 jet size bigger, making it run fat at slow speed, boost ref. is best , but you can get by without it, what number power valve is in the carb now, 10.5?

Do a search on power valves. There has been many threads on this subject in the past.
