Would something like CLR work?
I too have a bad rust stain on the non-skid deck. Years ago I used a commercial toilet cleaner called "Gun Smoke" it would produce smoke (acid vapors) as it was applied. Sure was strong but it did the job. |
I just removed some rust from my gelcoat yesterday. theWorks toilet bowl cleaner. It works real fast. Wear rubber gloves, squirt it on and use either a scotch brite pad or the sponges side. Rinse well with water.
It did take off the rust stains. I tried the CLR toilet boawl cleaner and it did not work. |

Oxalic Acid is also excellent and safe. It comes in a powder form, add water and apply.
