This is the best stuff I have ever seen. This stuff actually smokes when you open the bottle.

Thats muriatic acid and you can get that Sear's or any hardware store for pennys on the dollar for a gallon compared to what West Marine gets for a quart.

Would something like CLR work?
I too have a bad rust stain on the non-skid deck.

Years ago I used a commercial toilet cleaner called "Gun Smoke" it would produce smoke (acid vapors) as it was applied. Sure was strong but it did the job.

I just removed some rust from my gelcoat yesterday. theWorks toilet bowl cleaner. It works real fast. Wear rubber gloves, squirt it on and use either a scotch brite pad or the sponges side. Rinse well with water.
It did take off the rust stains.

I tried the CLR toilet boawl cleaner and it did not work.

Oxalic Acid is also excellent and safe. It comes in a powder form, add water and apply.
