Need Motor
 

Looking to see what's out there, looks like I detonated my #6 piston on my 2000 502mpi and I'm not sure which way to go, either looking for a complete bobtail or a 502 long block.

I little concerned to go with a long block because I dont know why it happened, a couple cylinders were very rich (2,8)and a couple were very lean.(6,4).

Any thoughts?

If its injected you could have some buildup inside the injector filter. You can pull the injectors out and have them checked & serviced for $12.00 each. I just had mine done and it took them 45 minutes for everything. He took the injector filters off in front of me and both he and I were suprised at how dirty they were.

if you need it rebuilt let me know it did have alot of hard hours on it.......
