Water in oil

I know this has been discussed before....Memory is shot! Someone suggested filling with diesel....fuel? Missed something here. Changed oil & filter....marina said they did...I did a second time. Doesnt look any better. I use the "pump" connected to dip stick tube. No way to get to drain plug. Thanks for any info.

When this happened to me earlier this year an NHRA friend of mine suggested a product called Motor Flush that can be purchased at any autoparts store.

Get all the milky oil out that you can.Add some cheap oil and motor flush.Run the engine a few minutes.Drain that oil and add your regular oil and your go to go.

If you are using the dipstick sucker, Get a piece of 1/4 " plastic tubing and retro fit it to the end of your pump. This tubing will bottom out on your pan and suck all of the oil out of the pan. You'll still have some in your lines but you won't have that quart left in the pan.

Here's what I did.

1. Drain old oil out.
2. Fill crankcase with diesel as full as possible.
3. Pull distributor, circulate oil with priming rod for a minute or so.
4. Drain diesel.
5. Repeat if desired, I did but I don't think it was necessary.
6. Refill with oil and go. I had no signs of residual water.

Of course, find and repair the cause of the problem before step 6.
