Bravo to alpha shift problem?
 
Hello,
I recently completed putting an originally a 350 mag efi bravo engine in a boat with an alpha drive. i can not get the boat to shift, as the bravo has no shift intterupter,, does any one know if there is a way to connect, or interface a shift interrupter to a bravo efi mag engine. Rich, I guess the best way to go about it would be to locate a complete shift plate assy.,do you still have the old motor? or from a parts motor maybe, I don't think its its available from merc as an assy, you would have to buy it by the piece. Anyway it should mount on the motor the same. It would ground on side of the switch and run the other side to the green/white wire from the dist.

Tells you how to hook up the Alpha shift interupter to EFI engine.

I ran across this the other week and saved it for notes in case it may help someone. Hopefully it does for you.
