What should my gauge read for oil pressure hot and at 3000rpms?

Not less than 30 psi

I see 40, but I thought I had seen higher. At idle it drops to 20 but no warning beeps.

I'm seeing about 50 PSI hot at 3,000 RPMs. Running 15W50 Mobil 1. About 30 PSI at idle.

Knot 4 me I should state I'm using the merc specd oil (i think 25-40)
