water pressure

Is it possible by changing the dia. of the cir. pump pulley from 6 in. to 5 in. that it would increace water pressure in the block.Thanks.

The water pump is not a positive displacement pump. Don't see how it would be able to increase pressure.

I was wandering because thats all I did and picked up water pressure.
