MSD plug gap

I have an LM-1 O2 sensor hooked up to my motorand I get a lot of spikes of oxygen showing up. Someone said those are misses. My plug gap is set at .035. I just read the hotboat article where they set the gaps at .045 for a BB Chev blower motor. I was thinking Maybe I should close up the gap to 030. This because of my motor being blown as well. What about heat range? I have Alum heads, no t-stat, and -7 NGK plugs. Any suggestions would be great. greg

We set our plugs at 0.45 also.

High, have you ever used the LM1 for tuning?

I have found the NGK tech line to be very helpful: http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/tech_su...x.asp?mode=nml

Thats cool thanks I read the whole thing. Still dont know what the miss thing means. Any LM1 experience here?

My plugs were set at .030! I went to .035 at Dean Nickersons recommendation. The spikes in the LM1 were reduced a lot! Next I might try the .040 setting next.
