Header Leaking / What to do?

1 Attachment(s)
I have all new Y pipes (Corsa Quick & Quite exhaust) new V-clamps and gaskets and I am getting blow by (carbon deposits) from one of the connections at the header and Y-pipe. I have tried doubling up the gasket and it still blows by.
(See pic)

Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions to relieve this is appreciated.

Thanks,
JB

Had the same problem with my CMI's and I ended up useing high temp copper sealant ...just a thin coat on the header gaskets ( doubled up) and no more leaks....not sure if this was the right thing to do but it worked and very well.....

I agree- hi temp comes in red and black. Clean all parts with acetone assemble and allow to dry over night. That is assuming everything lines up nice.
