Which on board battery charger?

I am looking for a new two (or maybe three) bank battery charger for my 38' Scarab. I want to store a Honda EU2000i generator in front of the port motor (on the shelf where the battery is) and the 30 A Guest charger is too large with its heat sink (about 9-10" thick and about 15" tall). I am also going to move the battery further back on that side. I was wondering if I should buy a smaller 10-20 amp unit and move it up higher to clear the generator. If so what kind? Guest? Thanks Mike

Seems like the Pro-Mariner series or the Guest are the most popular.

Off the subject, Mark, all the pictures I've seen of your Concept, the rigging job looks great. Very tidy and neat. ;)

I have one of the Xantex Trucharge 20 amp 3 bank battery charger in my boat and it works really well. I have it charging 3 blue top optimas.

I actually have a total of (5) blue tops in my boat. I have three batteries on bank #2 for my stereo, one for my everyday running, and one that isn't hooked up to anything so worst case scenario I kill all four batteries I have hooked up I have a seperate one as reserve to get me home. I am 99% sure they are the D34M and they work really well for me. Just make sure if your batteries are dead or really low when you are done boating for the day that you charge them before you store the boat or else they are going to be a pain the asz trying to get them back up.
