Does Alpha Drive have enough water pressure?

Does and Alpha Drive put out enough water pressure to not need a curculating water pump and use a crossover system??
It is a tough crew over in the drives area so I will just try posting it here.:D

I've ran my Gen 1 Alpha w/o the circulating pump since 92. Current engine is a 400hp 355 SBC and I spin it 5700rpms to 73gps. I use to have a 355 solid roller that spun 6500rpms. I've never had a problem cooling the motor just off what the water pump in the Alpha shoots out. Hottest it gets even at idle is 155*. When cruising or WOT it runs 140-150*.

The Gen 2 water pump and impeller seems to be an even better design over my Gen 1. I don't forsee any problems unless you are making BIG Hp, and in that case the Alpha will more than likely grenade before you run into cooling problems. HTH
