Have a little faith in the old IMCO SC, 1000hp might stain it a bit, but I'm also runnig at 3600ft, so there is a little power loss due ti altitude.

I am aware that 10.5:1 is to much, JE say's they can cut them down to 8.5:1 with no loss to the integrity of the piston.
I plan to talk to dean,he sent me a pm and said he could help out, as far as the fuel on powell, there are 2 places on the lake to get it, wauwepe to the south and halls crossing in the middle.

what about carbs, 4500's or 4150's
twin 4500's seem like overkill for 6psi and 6000 rpm's
