fluid damper

Is a fluid harmonic damper worth the money?

Is a 502 cid internally or externally balance and what size it it.

if it is a stock 502, it is externally balanced and I beleive you need to run the external balanced dampener.

Ken,
Unless something is wrong with your original damper, I dont see any real reason to change it. The Fluid damper will not do a thing for you as far as power goes. If you are building a performance engine and want to upgrade the damper, I personally would go with an ATI unit.

The 502 is externally balanced, your damper supplier should be able to tell you which one to get.
