A friend of mine has a half dozen Snap Ons in his shop and loves them. They're like Energizer Bunnies.
Just have extra batteries available.

Early on (middle 90's), Snap-On had some battery contact issues. All cleared up under warranty. Now, my shop (including me) has all three models that Snap-On offers. That's five mechanics using them 5-6 days a week. No issues, period. Well worth the money.

Snap On without a doubt. Very durable and will break almost anything loose. Have had guys borrow mine then go out and buy one.

Well I was thinking DeWalt, since all my other cordless stuff is DeWalt. But, it sure seems like Snapon has the vote.

Will DeWalts standerd charger also charge a lithium ion battery?

I've already got a bank of 3 chargers (DeWalt and 2 different cordless grease guns) I guess one more won't matter.

Mark I just bought a DeWalt a few days ago to take to the field. I have been having some corn head issues and needed to speed things up. I think this thing will do all I need but I would like to see the Snapon unit.
