Thanks - yes the Aeromotive 13204 reg is #10 inlet, #8 return and 2 x #6 for the carbs. Glad to hear you mounted it high with success - I was looking to mount mine level with the top of the tank.
Why is the checkvalve necessary? Does it take some time to prime without one? And the coolers - like hydraulic steering coolers, haven't been necessary in my boating experiences, yet. I'm sure there are environments that would benefit, but I haven't been there...yet. Thanks for the pump info - the #10AN braided has to be the largest fuel supply line I've installed - makes me want to put a pay as you go meter on it. |
The check valve keeps fuel up at the pump even though its after it. I put the aeromotive check valve screwed right into the outlet side of the pump.I also screwd the 1st filter right into the inlet side of the pump.Makes for a nice clean install of those 3 componets.
My pump is mounted about 2 feet higher then the top of the tank.Has been working great. |
check valve
Should i put the check valve befor or after the regulator.
