Bravo locks/theft deterant?
Is there such a thing as a "good" theft deterant for a bravo drive?
Same question for propellers. |
Take a cable and padlock combo and wrap it around the drive and trailer and lock it. Make it excessively troublesome and especially time consuming for anyone to chance messing with (i.e. time to get caught)......In addtion to drive/prop locks. If they wnat it bad enough they'll get it.

I have locks on mine, looks like they replaced some nuts with them. I looked at the "key" to get them off when I bought the boat, looks like a quality piece.
Not sure of the brand name, but the are definitely a replacement for a nut or bolt, not some kind of real "lock" |

Those are made by McGard. They make both drive and prop locks! I use them and have had no problems!

As long as you have the key. I bought a set for my GTO, and lost the key. I sent away to McGard for another key and got it without any problem..in about two weeks. Still, they are a good deterrent..it took only a few minutes to remove the two Bravos and put em in the garage for the winter. |
