stay away from borg warner 5000 trannies they are junk. i replaced so many when they came out. the hurth gear is by far the way to go with gas engines.

I just called my Merc rep, The 383 350hp I cannot currently get right now with the tranny on it, I would have to buy it seperate for some blasted reason.. It seems as if they are not interested much in getting the 383 sold the public right now, my guess is they are waiting & going to push the new 400hp version real soon... Are they selling bobtails with inboard front mounts, flywheel, drive plate, etc? Or are these alpha/bravo setups? Also how much is shipping to St Louis? Gary
