You shouldn't get any valve float with good springs and a hyd roller until 6000+rpms. The clearances should remain very close to the same at idle or 5500rpms.

Understood. I would guess then that clearances would get even tighter at max rpm when/if the valves start to float and when the pistons see their greatest travel in the bore.
