Fuel cooler

Is it common to run a fuel cooler on carb engines? I notice them on efi engines, but not on carbed. Are you guys typically running fuel coolers?

Thanks,
Frank

i ran a moroso cool can on my drag car with a carb & it did help keep the fuel pressure stable on very hot days.

You run a fuel cooler on an EFI motor because as the fuel goes thru the fuel rails, it gets heated and the excess pressure needs to go somewhere. You cool it and send it back around for another trip.

Thought the Mercruiser setups were not a looping fuel system..

I have had a 350 Mag MPI that would vapor lock - not a great thing.
