its .125 aluminum.
if i was to do it again i would probably use .063
.125 was a little overkill.

I just finished mine this week, I used Lexan. I like the aluminum look better. I wish I would read your thread. Damn

dash overhaul

i also redid my dash last winter and it is the best looking part on the boat,i removed all the gauges and then removed old plastic junk panels,i then had a tool and die buddy copy the plastic panels on a cnc program and made them out of 1/8 aluminum plate,i then trail fit them, fit great,so had a body shop paint them yellow (boat colour)and then got a place to screen print all the label for the switchs and even threw in a baja logo, looks great, and updated it perfectly.

Do we need an engine sync gauge? Still trying to figure out drive trim indicators too since those are on the old dash.

I did the same thing it was a little thick.....

Went from first pick to the second....third is the dash up close..

The beauty of sheet aluminum is you can just trace your old panels and paint it whatever color ya want....

Here are some basic ones you could paint also. Combine some in the 3 hole ones at $18.00 ea.

Tip on source of .125 aluminum. I go up to the county facility where they deal with street signs, climb in the dumpster and get my .125 aluminum there. The stop signs are that thickness.
