Water Wetter vs. R.P. Ice?

Anyone use Redline Water Wetter or Royal Purple Ice as a adjunct to the coolant in there closed cooling?

Are they the same? Is one better than the other?

Appears they increase the PH in the system. Anyone know why that increase the rate of heat exchange?

They didn't help in my street rod.

I used water wetter in a 450hp street rod. It helped bring the temps in traffic down about 10*

I think I used 2 or 3 bottles.

I have used water wetter in jeeps and it did lower the temp ~ 10 degrees when on slow trails, but it took 3 or 4 bottles to do anything.

Which one?

The Royal Purple label says more won't hurt but won't help either.

I used the Redline Water Wetter.
