Plumbing Strainers

Looking at buying a pair of strainers.
Nothing Huge, liking the ones from CPPerformance.
What one is best for under $450?

I know they will not stop sand, but hoping they will stop seeds along with the small peeble/rocks found on our river.

Only reason I am doing this is because I had started to install a T on the hose to aid in winterizing. During this I found pebbles in the hoses and now will be pulling off all hoses to make sure they are free n clear.

Thoughts?

I like my Hardin strainers. I removed Imco. They were a PITA to service.

Sea Strainer

Dear MNFastBoats

You have to ask your self do you want the best or the cheapest? I offer the Hardin Marine line of stainless steel sea strainers. They are all one hand operational sea strainers from taking off the Lexan Lid, to pulling out the cone shaped basket keeping the debris in the basket instead of in your engine compartment. They all so offer a 1 inch to a 1 1/4 inch npt inlet and out let along with a 3/4 inch npt bung on the front for a pressure relief value or a flusher kit. I can offer a 8 inch tall 6 inch diameter sea strainer with 1inch npt inlet and out lets and a 3/4 bung for $479.99. I have them in stock and ready to ship. You can reach me at (386) 446-0660 or e-mail at [email protected].

Thanks

Tony
