Oh yeah, and I have blown 3 engines due to valve head failure. Two due to water leaking into chambers from exhaust and 1 from an inferior valve (non inconnel) Ferria ever since w/ KE headers and no problems what so ever.

like bobl said maybe they replaced it with cheap valves?non inconnel. My old one out of my 500efi had manley on the side of the valves.

How can you be sure the head snapped off? When the valve seat drops out the mess that is left makes it almost impossible to tell.I lost a seat in a 502 and there was no valve head left.Much more common problem than a valve head snapping off.Causes, poor quality fuel and heat.

In addition to what else has been mentioned, have the valve guide clearance checked... I've seen valves hang open at WOT, kiss the piston and whammooo...cha ching!
Some get lucky and it bends, others..well not so lucky.. |

We used to be over at Georgetown on the bay. We have been on Raystown in PA for a couple of years now.
