Factory Spce's: 130 lbs closed @1.875" , 325 lbs @ 1.316 open. Free length 2.12 spring, 2.20 damper.

The stock Mercury springs are fine to 5600, with the stock flat tappet cam, Whipple intercooler and reprogramming.
If you are upgrading your cam to a hydraulic roller, talk to your grinder.
