It needs to be topped up . Mine is filled near the top .
I'm not sure where you can purchase some oil to fill it from the rear . |
Needs to be refilled. It should have just a small bubble at the top.
Refiill is no big deal. Darrell. |
Like Darrell said, no big deal to top it off. It may have lost the rubber plug on the back.
Our simply replace it with a GPS and eliminate the fluid filled gauge! I will give a you very nice deal if you end up going this route. NICE BOAT by the way! Kirk |
any idea where to get the oil from?
|
I believe it's just mineral oil, but I have not needed to refill one in many moons, so that could have changed.
Try to find the leak. |
the boats a 2002 so hopefully its just a plug.
|
i was told they were filled with Glycerin...can find it at Walgreens :)

The seals on them break occasionally and they will leak down to the level where the seal is broken. If I remember correctly, you can send it back and have it serviced by Gaffrig for about $100.
