Mirror plexiglass

Where can I get a mirror plexiglass or plastic.? I would like to install it on the inside of engine hatch. Or do they use SS.

mirrored leaxan might be better. or a thin sheet of polished stainless steel if you spend.

kennyo 03-19-2008 08:29 AM

$115 a sheet is what I was quoted at all plastic shops.$$$$$$

Lexan might be a little more durable, the one thing I found with plexy was its soft and scratches easily. I can ask my dad tonight, he's extruded plastic for 32 years.

I have a sign/graphics shop, Ican get the mirror lexan, but we also have a almost chrome aluminum sheet, looks real slick and won't crack, thats what I'm going to put under my hatch this year, plexi/lexan cracks to easy...Rob

Don't waste your time and money on plexiglass. Polished stainless steel is the only way to go. It will not warp or crack. I've been down this road before.
