Engine rebuilder near Toronto, Ontario

Hello All! I'm looking for someone to take my stock 454 Mag MPI (385HP) up to at least 500HP or swap it out! Searched alot of threads, but looking for a good marine mechanic somewhere close who is up to the task.
Anyone have one to recommend? OR a proven recipe I can start with?
thanks in advance! the snow is melting!

hmm well i dont know forsure, but maybe try double r or jim earl? i know they deal with high performance boats so you would think they would easily be able to do it.

Same thought from me. In Kingston you have Bullet engines. Robert Blakey or something like that (Robert I'm sure, Blakey not sure but sounds like this)

Call Mikey at Active Engines. The best there is here to, period. They have been building marine and other performance engines for over 25 years. They have done all my stuff and will soon be building the short block for my new blower motor. Hands down the best guys near Toronto. 905-855-1244.

H2X Boss:

Are you going to do the R&R yourself and just need the engine shop or do you need a rigging shop? I have seen many boats at Speedmaster Marine just north of Toronto that had engines done at Active, rigging at Speedmaster.
