On my Revolutions, I must have received a really bad casting. All the threaded holes were poorly tapped, some of the studs that hold the risers on were drilled through to the water jacket and constantly leak, and the worst part is that exhaust ports are misaligned with the ports in the heads. I called them one that one year after I had purchased them and they said "yeah, sometimes the casting core moves". So much for smooth exhaust flow.

Stainless Marine has been around since the 70's.... I'd stick with them... http://www.stainlessmarine.com/dsp_aboutUs.cfm

On twin engine boats it's the distance between the center of the crankshafts on both engines.

Stingray658 03-28-2012 06:45 PM

I have a 1996 Stingray658 with a 5.7liter i want ed to install the Eddie marine 410 kit im running stock(s )pipes. My concern is what all i have to modify I was told it is a direct kit but my ffuel water seperater has brakets off the manifold to the bock which im being told eddie marine doesent have that hold there to mount it any more. My only other concern is the angle of the stock risers to eddie marine. Does anyone have any problems with mounting issues.

Thank you.
