Hey is there another website that you can put a Serial number in for a Mercury engine, drive, or transom assy and it will give you a brief detail on it? Mercury Marine's website had it till they done there upgrade.

oh, that would be cool !! You can sort of do it via sites that have the microfiche online (like BAM Marine) but its a bit more labor intensive.

I called mercury and had them give me the info before I bought my boat.
