LSM 550 write-up in the May PB mag
Nice two page article on Raylar's all aluminum LSM 550. With 500 ft*lbs of torque starting at 3000 rpm, peaking at 565 ft*lbs at 4400 rpm and only weighing in at 532 lbs, pretty impressive. 550 hp at 5600 rpm, no supercharger and idles at 600 rpm. A before and after swap of twin 6.2's to LSM 550's would be a very interesting read. Anyone know if this is in the works anywhere?:evilb:

It's also the first boat engine to use veriable valve timing. I think this engine is the schit !!!! be great in a twin engine cat!!

...but for selfish reasons I sure would like to see this swap made on a Formula 292 Fastech!:p |
