Why do you need to remove the baffles???

You need the baffles if you're running PCV valves.

I'm changing the stock rockers to summit's roller rockers.

Cheap way......Use two rubber gaskets under each cover.

You need to grind off the corners on the #1 and #7 intake rocker arms. That is even what Merc did to the Crane rockers on blue motors.

Don't buy the summit brand anything for your valve train unless you like holes in your pistons.

Why???? I ran them just fine on a hopped up 454mag. I certainly wouldn't put them on more that a 600hp engine though.

Have crane roller rockers and doubled up Fel pro neoprene gaskets it leaked big time it was that way when I bought the boat. I bought the taller valve covers from eddie marine red fusion coat problem solved!!!

Just took some off a motor that was together for years....no leaks...BUT, You have to use "bellows glue" between the two gaskets, and they are the rubber gaskets with the S.S. piece in the center for strength.........YEAH YEAH YEAH I know I have bought the eddie marine covers(myself) and they work and look great also. But some people would like to put things together for themselves....nothing wrong with that !!
