holley marine fuel pump
Does anyone use the holley marine fuel pumps on their boats, the electric version?i have the red holley pump on my 509ci that i was told by a holley tech that this was the pump to do the job,but i only get 51/2-6 psi at the carb, just with the key on and the bowls filling but i am worried about it leaning out under load and CANNOT aford that.i have called holley back and the tech i got on the phone this time said the pump only supports 400hp which i have 600hp and i need a bigger pump with a regulator???????that way i can feed it a constant 7 psi, what do you think????

Check out aeromotives web site. I just bumped up to 720hp and was running an electric pump at your specs. They were great to deal with and reasonably priced and recommended their marine pro-series part #11110. It was good for something like 1100hp NA and 1300hp Forced. Also make sure your voltage regulator is bumping up to 13.5 to 14volts, mine would not get above 12 and I switched it out as well. Leaning our engine is time bomb waiting to happen, feed the beast. Hope this helps ak.

I've got the Holley blues on my 575hp. 509's, there are better pumps but mine have worked well!

I run the holley black on my 509's. Rated 140gph, solid 8lbs idle through WFO.

KYELIMEAGLE,that is what engine i have,a 509ci that made 615hp,what fuel pressure does that pump put in your carb inlet?i think i will swap out the red pump for the blue with a regulator set at 7 psi.

I run about 6.5 lbs. can run w.o.t. as long as I want. I could run more but I don't like to replace needle seats.
