what crane cam is comperable to the merc 454 mag camshaft.

I don't know the answer to that, but I do have a used 454 MAG MPI 385 hp cam from my engine if you're interested. It is in great shape and is just taking up space in my garage.

What year/Gen 454 mag??? flat tappet or roller cam??

Flat tappet Gen V specs are .510/.510, 220/220, 115 lob sep.

Closest you'll find in a Crane is # 133801.
