Fuel Pump Return Line

I'm running a carb with a electric fuel pump. I ran a return line from the regulator back to the tank. I have two pickups in the tank. They are threaded into the tank. Should I remove the actual pick up and just dump the fuel in the top of the tank or is it ok to use the pick. That would put the return fuel into the bottm of the tank.

I don't think that you need to return it to the bottom of the tank, although it would probably create less fumes etc. Most tanks just have the return line plumbed to dump from the top. I really don't think it's going to make a difference personally.

mine are both plumbed into the tubes,in my deal it helps keep the fuel more equal in the tanks...

I would be worried about stirring crap off the bottom of the tank.

I just did mine and was told to return to the top of the tank because of the pressure.

I started thinking about after I got it hooked up. I think I'll change it.

CP perf makes a inline pipe you put in the filler tube.

Nice idea, but its easier to get to the second pick up on the tank than the fill line. Today i took the pick up out and put a
90* in its place and hooked the return line to it.
