Bomar Hatch

I had the deck hatch on my Formula 353 fly open in tow. The support arm and one hinge were broken. Does anyone know if I can get these parts somewhere? I hope I don't have to buy a new hatch because my current hatch is painted.

I had to buy a new hatch for the same reson, looked everywhere could not find parts, I know that not what you wanted to here. new hatches are not cheap.

I was afraid of that. The biggest problem will be getting the hatch painted to match the deck. I don't know why boat builders have the hatches facing forward!

So that when your at anchor, and the bow is in the wind, the hatch will act as a scoop, pulling fresh air inside. I had one pop open on my Scarab at speed. Luckily it did not bust it. They are hard to find parts for.

Darrell.
