Whats the best oil to run in Weiand 177 blowers?

The Blower Shop and Darren Mayer PE both recommend Red Line Shockproof.
That's all I use. The synthetics seem to hold up better against fuel intrusion.

Mine had 500+ hrs with Merc HP gear oil/drive lube and was still going strong.
