Water injection and wide band O2

I am going to try using a water injection system on a 671 supercharged 510ci engine. I also am going to install an Innovative Motorsports wide band O2 sensor. I have CMI elbow tops for exhaust and will place the O2 in a welded SS bung in the hedder collector through the water jacket. My question is can I use a wide band O2 with water injection. I know that if an O2 gets wet there cooked instantly. Will there be any steam out of the exhaust or will the water be totally vaporized. I am using a kit designed for blower boost.

Water vapor will not hurt an o2 sensor. Water will. Just look at the water vapor coming out of the tail pipe of a car on a cold day.

Andy throw in a set of Livorsi dual probe pyros and watch them , we use the 0/2 for tuning & then pull the sender and thread a plug in the bung and watch your pyros ........ Get a hold of Kirk at elite marine here on OSO you'll dig the prices .. good luck did ya call ICE ????
