Merc 500 EFI valve covers
 

Just changed to aftermarket Aluminum Brodix heads. My factory valve covers are o-ring style .....How do I get these valve covers to seal up to the aftermarket heads that are Gen IV....it must be posible to do....

I was thinking there the same on the heads.

Go ahead and get ya some polished aluminum valve covers, it makes a lot of difference in looks.:D

If you grind off the little aluminum tab on the bottom of the valve cover rails you can use a standard big block chevy valve cover gasket with no problem
