pop out of gear? wtf
 

Was doing about 80 in my eagle and all of a sudden the motor is screaming and bouncing off the limiter (thank god for limiters). I have no thrust and I look down and see that the drive has popped out of forward gear? It's only happened once, and didn't happen again, anyone have any ideas? Did i hit something? Boat ran fine rest of the day!

Were you wave jumping - drive came out of the water.
Under load the bravo drive can't come out of gear.
The more the load the harder the clutch drives into the gear.

Not really but I suppose its possible that i hit some big enough chop? I see your point about the clutch thoo...
